Movie Synopsis:

To Kill a Mockingbird, based upon the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Harper Lee, features Gregory Peck as attorney Atticus Finch who practices in a small town in Alabama in the 1930s. In the course of defending an unpopular defendant (a black man accused of rape), he demonstrates character traits to which all attorneys can aspire - justice, tolerance and integrity. Peck’s performance earned him an Oscar for best actor and the film is considered a classic. Fun fact: Gregory Peck’s nine-minute courtroom closing speech was completed in one take.
