This program will address I-9 practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be taught by business immigration lawyers who are leading experts in the corporate immigration compliance field, including Mira Mdivani, Danielle Atchison, and Leyla McMullen. This presentation will outline legal and practical issues related to hiring and onboarding during the COVID-19 pandemic

1. IRCA legal requirements and issues during a pandemic and DHS new flexibility in requirements related to Form I-9 compliance.
2. How to handle new I-9s.
3. I-9 Internal Audit Issues, including current practices.
4. USCIS guidance and practice changes.
5. ICE I-9 inspections, including current practices and recent changes.
