CLE Credit hours:
MO CLE 8.0 hours including 5.6 Ethics and 1.0 EOB
Kansas 8.0 hours including 5.5 Ethics and Professionalism
In this movie Vincent Gambini isn’t just a lawyer, he’s a larger-than-life character. In this program, “the CLE Performer” Stuart Teicher, Esq., will use some other, larger than life characters to teach important lessons on competence, conflicts, lies, deception, and much more. Stuart uses characters like celebrities from the legal world as well as Hollywood to teach important lessons on attorney ethics in an amusing way.
After watching the film, My Cousin Vinny, we will hold an attorney forum where we will explore the ethics issues noted above, as well as other ethics concerns raised in the movie such as multi-jurisdictional practice, communication, and a lawyer’s responsibility to the tribunal.
