The Burial (2023) The inspirational true story of plaintiff’s lawyer Willie Gary (played by Jamie Foxx) and his representation of Jerry O’Keefe (played by Tommy Lee Jones), owner of a family-operated funeral home who was driven into financial distress by predatory practices of The Loewen Group, a large funeral company. Although Gary made his reputation on personal injury cases, he and O’Keefe formed a life-long friendship in their struggle to find the right story that would persuade a jury to see the injustice of O’Keefe’s situation.
