The intersection of law with deeply held religious beliefs can profoundly impact a person’s life. The UMKC Law & Religious Freedom Conference provides a safe forum where competing viewpoints on these powerful topics are civilly and respectfully discussed. This year’s conference will address the Supreme Court’s Colorado Masterpiece case, religion in the context of domestic abuse, religious freedom and immigration and responding to sexual allegations against clergy.
